Kid Kulafu aka Manny Pacquiao
Life can be tough for the man who holds 10 World Titles and the Eighth Division World Champion – Manny Pacquiao. Yes! Tough as it gets. Before he was Manny Pacquiao, he was Kid Kulafu. According to Paul Soriano, the Director of the movie: “this is the biggest fight of his life. This movie is about his life before boxing, the adversities he fought, and that he had this dream. There is a story to be told.”
Synopsis: Kid Kulafu is a film about the fighter’s first 15-years of his life. Manny Pacquiao came from a broken family, no home, no friends; he had nothing except for his perseverance to at least have a decent life. When his parents separated, he turned into a street vendor; he had no choice but to help his family survive. They were dirt poor. His faith, perseverance, and courage are what made him today, the World Champion. As what they say: The climb is tough, but the view from the TOP is worth it.
Kid Kulafu will be shown in the Philippine theaters on April 15 and in the US on April 24. Watch Manny Pacquiao’s early days, how he struggled, fell and got up. This is a movie about Inspiration, Perseverance, and Faith. Manny Pacquiao did not hold anything back.
