Birthday well spent at Picasso’s hometown Malaga. One of the most visited coastal cities in Andalusia

Living Malaga for 3 days enough, to soak in the local vibes. It is a low key chill town, unless the town center shenanigans excites you.

Malaga is also rich in Catholic heritage. I stumbled upon churches almost every corner. The Catedral de la Encarnacion was stunning. The shrines were grandiose.

My uber driver suggested this small fishing village- El Palo.

So off I go to a 20 minute uber rider. El Palo exceeded my expectation. It was surreal and peaceful village to just sit and breath the fresh air

The weather was warm enough to soak in the sun but I did attempted to get in the water-’twas cold!

Chiringuito: Small beach bars. Fresh catch of the day were the options. The locals started to flock as the sun sets and dinner was served. Mind you- this was just another ordinary day for them. But this was an exceptional unforgettable day for me. Such an experience that I want y’all to feel and see. Humbling hours of my special day. So with that said- El Palo should be on your list. The beachside restaurants/bars opens up at sundown.

The price was reasonable ~ considering the freshness of the meal usually cooked in a Mediterranean way.

The birthday dinner that I’ve always imagined. So peaceful and felt the local vibes of the town that showed me the realities of my manifestations. Such a memorable night…

Moving on to another day: I explored the historical sites. These are all walking distance from the town center. Malaga is a walkable town.
