Let me just start off with experimental cocktails in Paris. Paris counts numerous noteworthy cocktails haunts that set the tone and ushered in a new flavor of drinks. With drinks flavored by passionfruit, pandan, coconut, basil, ginger, and whatnot.

DANICO –  a hidden speakeasy tops my list. One must cross the threshold of the truffle aroma of DAROCO’s kitchen to stumble into this bar.

The creations crafted by Nico de Soto (who used to work at the Experimental Cocktail Club and owns Mace New York.) Cocktail choices change on a regular basis.

My friend Tania dropped by DANICO when she was in Paris on a business trip. We both agreed HAO NEEO MAMUANG is the pinnacle off the menu.

May I say the book of experimental cocktails.

This chic craft cocktail den situated inside the 2nd arrondissement’s historic Galerie Vivienne. So, when in Paris, it is a must to sip on concoct quirky drinks at DANICO.

Reservations recommended for this chic Italian trattoria. After a few cocktails at DANICO, head on to this seductive restaurant with contemporary décor and glass installations between the 2 levels. The mirrored ceilings, marbles and gold accentuated decors are more than enough to visit this place.  Italian food is experiencing a moment in Paris at this restaurant, in what was once Jean Paul-Gaultier’s flagship boutique.

Seated upstairs on the small balcony – it has a great view of the dining room. The menu is quite creative with much of the ingredients that will open up your eyes to quality and mixtures. Oh! that spicy olive oil

Aperitif : Burrata

Who goes to Paris and eat pizza? And I’m not a pizza lover at all. What sold me on this is the truffle!

Tartufo: panna, fior d latte noire, – tuber aestivum, ciboulette

Dessert: Tiramisu
